The patch below fixes the following category of checkpatch complaints: ERROR: do not use C99 // comments This patch has been verified as follows: - Verified that checkpatch does no longer complain about C99 comments. - Verified that make -s clean && make -s iscsi scst && make -s -C srpt still works. The newer f/w for 2100s is > 0x8000 words, which PROM code on some cards has trouble loading- define the token USE_SMALLER_2100_FIRMWARE to select 1.15.37 f/w for the 2100.
