abbf5de68c frozen_mutation: introduce consume method
Allowing to consume the frozen_mutation directly
to a stream rather than unfreezing it first
and then consuming the unfrozen mutation.

Streaming directly from the frozen_mutation
saves both cpu and memory, and will make it
easier to be made async as a follow, to allow
yielding, e.g. between rows.

This is used today only in to_data_query_result
which is invoked on the read-repair path.

1d84a254c0 flat_mutation_reader: Split readers by file and remove unnecessary includes.
The flat_mutation_reader files were conflated and contained multiple
readers, which were not strictly necessary. Splitting optimizes both
iterative compilation times, as touching rarely used readers doesn't
recompile large chunks of codebase. Total compilation times are also
improved, as the size of flat_mutation_reader.hh and
flat_mutation_reader_v2.hh have been reduced and those files are
included by many file in the codebase.

fcb8d040e8 treewide: use Software Package Data Exchange (SPDX) license identifiers
Instead of lengthy blurbs, switch to single-line, machine-readable
standardized (https://spdx.dev) license identifiers. The Linux kernel
switched long ago, so there is strong precedent.

Three cases are handled: AGPL-only, Apache-only, and dual licensed.
For the latter case, I chose (AGPL-3.0-or-later and Apache-2.0),
reasoning that our changes are extensive enough to apply our license.

The changes we applied mechanically with a script, except to
licenses/README.md.

64bb48855c flat_mutation_reader: revamp flat_mutation_reader_from_mutations()
Add schema parameter so that:
* Caller has better control over schema -- especially relevant for
reverse reads where it is not possible to follow the convention of
passing the query schema which is reversed compared to that of the
  mutations.
* Now that we don't depend on the mutations for the schema, we can lift
the restriction on mutations not being empty: this leads to safer
code. When the mutations parameter is empty, an empty reader is
  created.
Add "make_" prefix to follow convention of similar reader factory
functions.

41facb3270 treewide: move reversing to the mutation sources
Push down reversing to the mutation-sources proper, instead of doing it
on the querier level. This will allow us to test reverse reads on the
mutation source level.
The `max_size` parameter of `consume_page()` is now unused but is not
removed in this patch, it will be removed in a follow-up to reduce
churn.

502a45ad58 treewide: switch to native reversed format for reverse reads
We define the native reverse format as a reversed mutation fragment
stream that is identical to one that would be emitted by a table with
the same schema but with reversed clustering order. The main difference
to the current format is how range tombstones are handled: instead of
looking at their start or end bound depending on the order, we always
use them as-usual and the reversing reader swaps their bounds to
facilitate this. This allows us to treat reversed streams completely
transparently: just pass along them a reversed schema and all the
reader, compacting and result building code is happily ignorant about
the fact that it is a reversed stream.

d2442a1bb3 tests: Ditch storage_service_for_tests
The purpose of the class in question is to start sharded storage
service to make its global instance alive. I don't know when exactly
it happened but no code that instantiates this wrapper really needs
the global storage service.

3dbb456fba test: mutation_query_test: use local mutation_query() implementation
Add a local `mutation_query()` variant, which only contains the pieces
of logic the test really wants to test: invoking
`mutation_querier::consume_page()` with a `reconcilable_result_builder`.
This allows us to get rid of the now otherwise unused
`mutation_query()`.

59ea36731b test: mutation_query_test: use local data_query() implementation
The test only wants to test result size calculation so it doesn't need
the whole `data_query()` logic. Replace the call to `data_query()` with
one to a local alternative which contains just the necessary bits --
invoking `data_querier::consume_page()` with the right result builder.
This allows us get rid of the now otherwise unused `data_query()`.

f7a4d19fb1 mutation_partition: abort read when hard limit is exceeded for non-paged reads
If the read is not paged (short read is not allowed) abort the query if
the hard memory limit is reached. On reaching the soft memory limit a
warning is logged. This should allow users to adjust their application
code while at the same time protecting the database from the really bad
queries.
The enforcement happens inside the memory accounter and doesn't require
cooperation from the result builders. This ensures memory limit set for
the query is respected for all kind of reads. Previously non-paged reads
simply ignored the memory accounter requesting the read to stop and
consumed all the memory they wanted.

555d8fe520 build: Be consistent about system versus regular headers
We were not consistent about using '#include "foo.hh"' instead of
'#include <foo.hh>' for scylla's own headers. This patch fixes that
inconsistency and, to enforce it, changes the build to use -iquote
instead of -I to find those headers.

14743c4412 data_query, mutation_query: use query_class_config
We want to move away from the current practice of selecting the relevant
read concurrency semaphore inside `table` and instead want to pass it
down from `database` so that we can pass down a semaphore that is
appropriate for the class of the query. Use the recently created
`query_class_config` struct for this. This is added as a parameter to
`data_query`, `mutation_query` and propagated down to the point where we
create the `querier` to execute the read. We are already propagating
down a parameter down the same route -- max_memory_reverse_query --
which also happens to be part of `query_class_config`, so simply replace
this parameter with a `query_class_config` one. As the lower layers are
not prepared for a semaphore passed from above, make sure this semaphore
is the same that is selected inside `table`. After the lower layers are
prepared for a semaphore arriving from above, we will switch it to be
the appropriate one for the class of the query.

157fe4bd19 Merge "Remove default timeouts" from Botond
"
Timeouts defaulted to `db::no_timeout` are dangerous. They allow any
modifications to the code to drop timeouts and introduce a source of
unbounded request queue to the system.

This series removes the last such default timeouts from the code. No
problems were found, only test code had to be updated.

dfc8b2fc45 treewide: replace reader_resource_tracer with reader_permit
The former was never really more than a reader_permit with one
additional method. Currently using it doesn't even save one from any
includes. Now that readers will be using reader_permit we would have to
pass down both to mutation_source. Instead get rid of
reader_resource_tracker and just use reader_permit. Instead of making it
a last and optional parameter that is easy to ignore, make it a
first class parameter, right after schema, to signify that permits are
now a prominent part of the reader API.

This -- mostly mechanical -- patch essentially refactors mutation_source
to ask for the reader_permit instead of reader_resource_tracking and
updates all usage sites.

1c8736f998 tests: move all test source files to their new locations
1. Move tests to test (using singular seems to be a convention

2. Move boost tests to test/boost, other
(non-boost) unit tests to test/unit, tests which are
expected to be run manually to test/manual.

Update configure.py and test.py with new paths to tests.
