The interface is fragile because the user may incorrectly use the wrong "gc before". Given that sstable knows how to properly calculate "gc before", let's do it in estimate__d__t__r(), leaving no room for mistakes. sstable_run's variant was also changed to conform to new interface, allowing ICS to properly estimate droppable ratio, using GC before that is calculated using each sstable's range. That's important for upcoming tablets, as we want to query only the range that belongs to a particular tablet in the repair history table. Signed-off-by: Raphael S. If you can use an existing folder, consider adding your test to it. New folders should be used for new large categories/subsystems, or when the test environment is significantly different from some existing suite, e.g. you plan to start scylladb with different configuration, and you intend to add many tests and would like them to reuse an existing Scylla cluster (clusters can be reused for tests within the same folder).
To add a new folder, create a new directory, and then
copy & edit its suite.ini.
