Benny Halevy eebf97c545 view: check_needs_view_update_path: get token_metadata_ptr ...

check_needs_view_update_path is async and might yield
so the token_metadata reference passed to it must be kept
alive throughout the call.

Fixes scylladb/scylladb#20979
