(_GNU_SOURCE): Define.

(<fnmatch.h>): Include unconditionally.
(child_open_for_compress): Dup after closing, to avoid possible file
descriptor exhaustion.
(flush_write): Use FILESYSTEM_PREFIX_LEN instead of MSDOS ifdef.
(flush_read): Likewise.
